Festival "Diplomacy of Stars" to be held in Almaty

This week vivid representatives of classic music and staging art will open the third International musical festival "Diplomacy of Stars" in Almaty. For its short history it has already acquired a reputation of one of the important events in the cultural life of Almaty. The concerts which were held within its framework were remembered for a long time by music admirers by unique performances of genuine stars of classic and jazz music. The following celebrities performed among them Maxim Fedotov, Denis Matsuyev, Georgiy Garanyan, Russian national orchestra under leadership of Mikhail Pletnev.
This year the visitors of the event could enjoy master of Russian theatre and cinema Oleg Tabakov, and Arkadiy Volodos from France, who is called by the western media as "the fastest pianist of the planet," besides during the festival the Russian national orchestra, which is listed as one of the best world collectives and recognized as leader of the Russian symphonic stage.
"The mission of music forum - is to bring "Light" of stars of the world level to a Kazakhstani listener - remains intact this year," the president of the festival Nurgul Tuleuova stressed.
For the first time local "diplomats of the high art" will perform - rector for the Kazakh National conservatory Zhaniya Aubakirova (piano) and Amir Bisengaliyev (violin).
In accordance with the tradition of the "Diplomacy of Stars" festival, it will be presented by Svyatoslav Belza, the most respected Russian music critic.
According to press secretary of the festival Artem Krylov, the program is unique due to its participants. In deed, the famous Russian actor Oleg Tabakov is a rare guest of the southern capital, and the popularity of the world famous pianist Arkadiy Volodos. The compound concert of Brahms, which will be performed by Zhianiya Aubakirova, also points to the high level of the organized event.
The festival will be carried out on May 17, 18 and 20 at the Big hall of conservatory.
