In case of earthquake danger, interdepartmental commission gathers at the session. This year we did not gather this commission because there is no need. It means that situation in Almaty prognosis region is calm," said Tanatkan Abakanov, the director of seismology institute.
Along with this, Abdrakhman Kurskeyev, academician of the National academy of science of Kazakhstan added, "we do not expect earthquakes the nearest years".
The scientists called the dwellers not to react on the rumors about earthquake, spread by different sources. In case such threat really appears, the information will be sent to the government of Kazakhstan. Government members will resolve the question concerning people notification.
