KZ Secretary of State to have a number of meetings

Kazakhstan’s Secretary of State Kanat Saudabayev will have a number of meetings devoted to the Day of State Symbols in Almaty on June 4, Kazinform refers to the Almaty akimat’s press service.

Mr. Saudabayev will visit Almaty house of veterans and then take part in youth activities dedicated to the holiday.

The Secretary of State is expected to meet with students and teachers of the higher education establishments and medical workers of the city.

New state symbols of independent Kazakhstan were approved on June 4, 1992. In accordance with the Presidential Decree as of June 4, 2007 “On amendments to the Kazakh President’s Decree as of January 20, 1998 “On professional and other holidays in the Republic of Kazakhstan” the country celebrates the State Symbols Day on June 4.
