Almaty to host Days of Qatar’s Culture

During the period of June 8-14 Almaty will host Days of Qatar's Culture in Kazakhstan. The event is organized by Culture and Information Ministry of Kazakhstan, “Kazak Auenderi” JSC and Qatar National Council for Culture, Arts and National Heritage.

A solemn opening of the event will be held on June 10 at G. Musrepov State Academic Theatre for Children and Youth. A concert of folk dancing ensemble, demonstration of feature and documentary films about Qatar, expositions devoted to traditional handicraft, dishes of national cuisine, Bedouin heritage and fine arts are planned to be organized within the Days of Qatari Culture.

Conducting of such events by our states plays an important role in strengthening of a united cultural-information space and development of mutually beneficial bilateral relations. The Qatar delegation will be headed by Chairman of the National Council for Culture, Arts and National Heritage Sheikh Mishaal Bin Jasem Bin Hamad Al Thani.
