David Cameron really does want an election

Full coverage of UK politics David Cameron has called for an immediate general election (which is to say, in the autumn) following the Glasgow East spectacular. You may recall that he was also calling for an immediate general election...

Why is Cameron calling for a General Election ?

Despite the pleasing bloody nose given to the Lord Protector last night in which Des Browne looks like he is going to be the fall guy. There is no point Cameron calling for a General Election on the basis of 'Change' I am not going to vote for anybody advocating just 'change' Cameron is advocating the same level of Tax and Spend as Labour- No Change there, he is merging the UUP in Northern Ireland...

A Special Report By BBC Reporter With news being released yesterday of the theft of David Cameron's beloved bicycle from outside his local supermarket, Boggart Blog believes that the theft is, in actual fact, part of a conspiracy by the shadow cabinet to provoke a sympathy vote for the conservative party. CCTV footage obtained by Boggart Blog News Network seems to show the bycicle being draped in...

David Cameron is right!

It probably is time for a general election. I, for one, can't stand much of the newspapers being full of such speculation.

Cameron needs bike security lesson

Some time ago the police suggested that David Cameron needed some tips on riding a bike legally. Now it seems he needs some tips in bike security, if not common sense. I learn via Terry Wogan and the Independent that the fellow chained his bike (outside Tesco) to a metre high bollard. So all the thief had to do was lift up the bike and walk off with it. D'oh!

Cameron on a referendum?

According to Welsh Ramblings David Cameron has said that he is overruling some of his party's AMs in Wales and will not be allowing a referendum on a real Parliament for Wales. Lenin Cymru says that the media have failed to report these remarks, preferring instead to concentrate on the Tory Leader's support of a badger cull in Wales and his non-remarks on Alun Cairns and Lord Wyn Roberts' report on...

David Cameron's bike stolen

British Member of Parliament and Conservative Party head David Cameron had his bicycle stolen . Cameron, who regularly bikes to his office at the House of Commons, stopped at a grocery store on his way home from work. He locked his bike around a bollard, which is a post set in the ground. Witnesses say some kids lifted the bike up and carried it away, presumably so they could cut the lock off later....

Cameron's Bike Nicked

David Cameron has become a crime statistic with the shocking news that someone has stolen his bicycle from outside a supermarket. David left his preferred mode of transport unattended when he nipped into Tesco on the Portobello Road, not far from his West London home. He returned to find that some low life crook had removed the mountain bike from the bollard to which it was chained. The Conservative...

David Cameron's bike theft demands answers

Forget for a moment the Glasgow East by-election (on the result of which the very survival of Gordon Brown as PM may hang). The best political story of the day is this one - David Cameron has his bike nicked. As with all great stories, it poses more questions than it answers. Why ...

Cameron wobbles

Poor old David Cameron - not only has someone stolen his bike (perhaps it was a student prank, the sort of young person's indiscretion we should turn a blind eye too; or maybe it was a young person pinched it, in which case we must act now) - but The Times diary records that his attempts to woo the urban scene still have some work required: In a summit with New Statesman , the top artiste Goldie says:...
