I just saw this new application: sliderocket. It allows you to build presentations via the web. What is unique about it is that you can collaborate with others on the same presentation. Multi-level security is available. And, the neat feature: metrics. When you post your slides internally or externally, you can see who is viewing your presentation, where they viewed it, if they shared it, what slides...

Unlike so many misguided Web 2.0 startups, sliderocket is going to ask its users to pay to use its Flex-based on-demand presentation application, and it plans a potentially lucrative add-on marketplace too. I got an exclusive sneak preview of its pricing plans.

The video. The conversation. The quote: “Awesome, AWESOME interview Robert. sliderocket was the missing link to my online office suite software mix. Thanks for posting this piece.” — Frederick Johnson. Please support great entrepreneurs and link to this, Digg it, Slashdot it, TechCrunch it, and Twitter it. Thanks!

I noticed the link to this on Jacob Morgan's blog recently, sliderocket is a web-application for creating presentations. This in itself is nothing new Google docs has included a presentation application for a while now and Zoho Show is also well established but there are two main problems with each of them: In general, you need to have an working internet connection in order to show the presentations...

I’ve previously written about using IM to get your work done. How about a more general question - what else do you use? Particle physics is known for rolling its own tools. We have grown up with this approach because forever it was the case that what we wanted wasn’t there. But it isn’t clear that [...]

I have to admit I am a PowerPoint junkie. At work we use it ALL THE TIME and sometimes we forget that we can have meetings without it. I just learned about a new tool that might change all of that, it is called sliderocket. What I love about it already is that it is web-based, it appears to create beautiful and innovative presentations, and has built-in tools for presentation sharing over the web....

There’s a good overview of four online presentation tools — “PowerPoints” in the clouds — over at ReadWriteWeb. We’ve already looked at Zoho Show 2.0 here on Slaw, and everyone should be familiar with what Google Docs can do in that respect (not much). A new player, 280 Slides, is starting to make online son [...]
