TBWA Paris are back for Amnesty International with a vengeance - after the maybe/probably never approved bronze Lion winning campaign - this poignant animated short sells your signature really well. I particularly like that the victims have no mouths, and symbolically can not speak for themselves. read more

A few weeks ago, we wrote this article on Culture-Buzz.com about a campaign organized by Amnesty International to speak out about torture and human rights violations in China. The controversial prints were designed by TBWA/Paris and gave us a lot to talk about due to their frankness and the Bronze medal they were awarded at the 2008 Cannes Festival. I hardly need to tell you that these prints were...

What is wrong with Mars, Inc./Masterfoods? Look at this Snickers commercial produced by Omnicon. The accompanying text is from AdAge critic Bob Garfield's open letter to Omnicon CEO John Wren criticizing this tripe (h/t Joe.My.God ): In January 2007, from TBWA, New York, there was the Snickers Super Bowl ad: two auto mechanics, chewing on opposite ends of a candy bar till meeting in an accidental kiss...

Filed under: Fan Stuff We love the construction of this ad for the PSP created by TBWA Espana, Madrid, Spain. Two police offers are apprehending this young man, and instead of handcuffs, they use the ever-engrossing PSP. It's a subtle ad that may not sell the system's capabilities, but does a great job of emphasizing how cool the device is. [Thanks, Karsten !] Read | Permalink | Email this | Comments...

TBWA\Hunt\Lascaris, Johannesburg created this mailer for the Mail and Guardian. With it, they've invented what is likely the most mind-boggingly difficult game ever - Roboku. Aaargh! They explain: In order to seek out the future bright talent of the journalism industry, the Mail and Guardian sent out a direct mailer to the near graduates of various tertiary education facilities. The direct mailer...
