Conde Nast closes Portfolio magazine

Conde Nast Publications Inc. is shuttering the business magazine Portfolio and its Web site, Portfolio.com, and laying off more than 80 people. business magazines such as Fortune, Forbes and BusinessWeek. The company said the May issue, on newsstands now, will be Portfolio’s last.
