This is located on the Metra / Union Pacific north line to Kenosha Wisconsin. This line was originally owned by the Chicago & NorthWestern Railroad. This lovely stone depot, is located just east of Green Bay Road in north suburban Kenilworth Illinois.

I took this photo one day after work in June of 2007. seen here on a hot Chicagoland evening, is a westbound Metra express commuter train enroute to Elburn Illinois. River Forest is located on the Metra / Union Pacific "West Line". In past years, this was the Chicago & Northwestern Railroad.
