I don't even know how to talk about this... My mom has been admitted to the hospital for an infection. Her immunity is so flattened by the chemo. She is vulnerable to everything. She's dehydrated with a fever. I guess when my dad left her last night she was feeling better and perking up. They expect her home in a few days after they run some tests determining the source of the infection. /crosses fingers...

I've been told many a time that I need to start a food/wine blog. I compulsively take photos of food. Honor it, savor it. It's not just fuel, it's intention. Art. Expression. We had a lovely time at Theo Chocolate factory! Pamela was our enthusiastic guide on our private tour. She spoiled us with unending samples. Whatever we wanted. We got to see the whole operation start to finish and the care they take making their truly individual chocolate and confections. Everything was so delicious! We finished the tour pairing chocolate with wine and watching Damian charm a room...
