The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) has confirmed two cases of cattle deaths from anthrax this week in separate farms in Saskatchewan province. The disease poses no risk to humans. Seven bison in a herd in Paddockwood north of Prince Albert and a cow near Saskatoon tested positive of the disease. The CFIA has quarantined the affected areas to prevent the spread of the disease.
