Immigration Raids: ‘Getting Tough’ Or Just Official Terror?

It's become apparent that the Bush administration has, since the defeat last year of immigration-reform legislation, has completely capitulated to the GOP's rising nativist element. The result has been a harsh series of raids that have had the effect of terrorizing the Latino community.
