As usual, I was unable to see every movie that came out, but I did get to just under 200 (197) movies that were released in the Seattle area in 2008, which I feel is a pretty good sample to pick from. It's never written in stone, but as of right now, these are my favorite movies of 2008.

I was skeptical about the casting of Anton Yelchin as Kyle Reese in McG's TERMINATOR SALVATION. The kid's a good actor, but physically seemed kind of wispy for the tenacious futuristic soldier and unwitting father to mankind's savior.
