Steven Soderbergh’s long talked about Che Guevara biopic will be one of the movies premiering at this year’s Cannes film festival. I’ve never quite understood the obsession with Che, who was kind of an asshole, but in death has suddenly become some sort of angelic, freedom fighting, martyr. But it'll be interesting to see what Soderbergh does with him, particularly with Benicio Del Toro...
