... did vote for Bush. That makes him a liar. He either lied to Arianna (and actors Richard Schiff and Bradley Whitford back up Arianna’s version) back then or he’s lying now. Considering the trouncing Hillary Clinton rightfully got for her Bosnia story , I see no reason why this shouldn't speak to McCain's character and credibility as well. Apparently loosey-goosey on a Friday afternoon...

AP /Houston Chronicle: Republican John McCain on Friday disputed blogger Arianna Huffington's contention that she heard him say he voted against President Bush in 2000. In a report, the liberal Huffington insisted she heard McCain say, at a Los Angeles dinner party after the 2000 election, he had not voted for Bush. Two other guests at the party, former West Wing actors Bradley Whitford...

... to consider the source,” the Times and the Post verified Huffington's account with West Wing stars Bradley Whitford and Richard Schiff, both of whom were in attendance at Candace Bergen's Beverly Hills bash that night. What is beyond dispute, however, is McCain's past hatred for George W. Bush. As Time reported in March 2000, McCain then showed a visceral disgust towards Bush and...

... person, not just through the sleazy cadre of lobbyists-- there were other witnesses . ... McCain denied this. Both The New York Times and The Washington Post have printed stories in which Bradley Whitford (Josh Lyman), and Richard Schiff (Toby Ziegler), have backed up Arianna’s account. Maybe McCain is much slyer than he is given credit for. While some Republicans might object, it could help McCain to have stories such as this demonstrating that even he realized that Bush...

We’re really enjoying this story . Not in a Jeremiah Wright/Bosnia kind of way, mind you, but just because it's so darn silly: Two Hollywood actors who dined with Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) in early 2001 at actress Candice Bergen's home confirmed Thursday that he told the assembled group he did not vote for George W. Bush in the 2000 election. In separate phone interviews, Bradley Whitford...
