Charles Dickens’ beloved holiday story “A Christmas Carol” gets the 3D treatment, and the result is a visually stunning big-screen experience I’m sure many cinema goers out there will enjoy to the fullest extent. As far as I’m concerned, my feelings about this one are mixed. The story doesn’t really require a lengthy introduction. The [...]

Charles Dickens' classic character Ebenezer Scrooge, the mean ill-tempered and miserly protagonist of 'A Christmas Carol', is being reprised on screen by Hollywood funnyman Jim Carrey in his latest outing. Carrey says he wanted to bring to surface the 'bitterness that a loveless life brings' for the role in 'A Christmas Carol'.

Dickens’ classic morality story has been brought to the screen so many times that the redemption of old miser Scrooge is well known to us, and difficult to present in a new and engaging way.

There's something appealing about the combination of Jim Carrey, Bob Hoskins, Cary Elwes, Alan Rickman, John Cleese...actually the whole cast is an impressive combination. It’s been nearly six months since we last saw Shawn, Gus, and the rest of the cast of Psych but something tells me that tonight’s season four opener is worth the wait. For a change, the crime-comedy series kicks off with a different backdrop while our heroic duo tries to kick back and relax before getting themselves in a cat-and-mouse chase with a Thomas Crown-like criminal.
