Apparently Sean Connery and Timothy Dalton were both a relatively lofty 6ft 2ins, whilst Roger Moore and Pierce Brosnan were 6ft 1.5ins. Daniel Craig is a more height restricted 5ft 10ins. The tallest James Bond however was also the shortest serving, George Lazenby was 6ft 2.5ins tall.

When Daniel Craig became the sixth actor to bring James Bond to the big screen, he had some big shoes to fill – literally. Former 007s Sean Connery , Timothy Dalton and George Lazenby stand tall at 6ft 2in, and Roger Moore and Pierce Brosnan shape up at only one inch shorter at 6ft 1in. But Craig, comes in at only 5ft 10in. This is still taller than the national UK average for men, which is 5ft 8/9...

Daniel Craig is a much better Bond than Pierce, has to be said. And the last two Bond films Pierce was in (no fault of his I know) sucked so hard. I have high hopes for the new film after Casino Royal.

The new James Bond film encounters another accident on the set Tuesday. Daniel Craig was rushed to a doctor after cutting his hand during an action scene shoot.
