Over at Jezebel, Vulture contributor Lindsay Robertson breaks the news that Lorne Michaels and Seth Meyers have added famed "alternative" comedienne Jessi Klein ( Best Week Ever , The Showbiz Show with David Spade ) as a member of the show's writing staff. Even better? We're pretty sure she doesn't even have any famous people in her family! [ Jezebel ] Read more posts by Mark Graham Filed...

I’ve been worried for a long time that organized groups of blacks will start ambushing and taking out white cops, and specifically white cops. I can’t say exactly where I got this premontion, but it happened before Barack Obama came along. Now that he’s President, this has only served to turbocharge black arrogance. It’s even [...]

It was a Sunday night in Boston during August and my brother and I were waiting outside the Mandarin Oriental Hotel. We knew the entire cast of the movie "Grown Ups", which stars Adam Sandler, Kevin James, Chris Rock, Rob Schneider and David Spade were staying there. I had already gotten [...]

Adam Sandler surveys the room. At a long table sit some of his best friends in comedy: David Spade, Kevin James, Chris Rock, and Rob Schneider—who, as always, came with a crate of autographed The Animal DVDs "just in case." Looking at them, Sandler brightens. He feels a dull ache deep in his left knee. This can only mean one of two things: Either it's gonna rain this afternoon, or his...

Adam Sandler, Kevin James, Chris Rock, David Spade and Rob Schneider are starring in Dennis Dugan's new comedy "Grown Ups," and the first trailer for the film sucks big time. And I mean BIG TIME! The story follows four old friends who haven't seen each other for decades and one day decide to reunite for a Fourth of July weekend. What a bad idea, because we get to watch them catch up and...

I received word that Armored , a new movie coming out on December 4th, tells the story of a "crew of officers at an armored transport security firm who risk their lives when they embark on the ultimate heist….against their own company. Armed with a seemingly fool-proof plan, the men plan on making off with a fortune with harm to none. But when an unexpected witness interferes, the plan...

Kick-Ass Why don't people in real life put on a costume, get a few gadgets and fight crime? Because the idea is completely bonkers. This flick based on a comic book by Mark Millar features a group of young people putting on the spandex and, as the title suggests, kicking some ass. This looks pretty cool, but we'll find out for sure on April 16. Extraordinary Measures Brendan Fraser stars as a father...

On paper, a movie that reunites nineties-era SNL brethren Adam Sandler, Chris Rock, David Spade, and Rob Schneider certainly has some potential for hilarity. In practice, however, Grown Ups looks as if it will replace Little Nicky as the worst film Adam Sandler has ever had a starring role in. Unless you're the kind of person who finds the sight of Rob Schneider kissing a woman a good twenty years...

Hey look, the gang's all here! Grown Ups (previously known as The Lake House) is an upcoming comedy that re-unites Adam Sandler with SNL buddies David Spade, Chris Rock and Rob Schneider (not that he and Schneider have been apart for very long). Throw Kevin James into the mix, and you've got a recipe for a pretty huge summer blockbuster. The first teaser trailer has hit the web over at Yahoo! , and...
