Honestly, I enjoyed the hell out of this film, which was directed by Joel Schumacher and stars Dominic Purcell, Henry Cavill and, briefly, Michael Fassbender. It’s a mix of action, the occult, Nazi mayhem, but it’s also a creature feature (with zombie f**kin’ horses and dogs) and a siege picture in some respects with a dose of EC Comics atmosphere.

Amaury Nolasco and Dominic Purcell were spotted in Las Vegas this past weekend! Nolasco and his girlfriend were at Body English nightclub celebrating a close friend’s 30th birthday. Purcell was also at the club celebrating the grand opening of the new Affliction store now open inside Vegas Hard Rock’s Paradise Tower. While Purcell was working the red carpet for Affliction – Nolasco...
Though MPI, IFC Films has announced several more DVD releases for the first part of 2010, most notably Philippe Garrel's Frontier of the Dawn [ La frontière de l'aube ] for 26 January. The only worthwhile Blu-ray I saw announced was a 20th anniversary edition of Martin Scorsese's Goodfellas from Warner, slated for 16 February. Lionsgate also announced a Joel Schumacher film that I (predictably)...
Lionsgate Home Entertainment has released the DVD street date for BLOOD CREEK, the Joel Schumacher-directed chiller that was only shown in a couple of theaters in September. BLOOD CREEK (previously known as TOWN CREEK and just plain CREEK), stars Dominic Purcell and Henry Cavill as brothers seeking vengeance against a group continuing decades-old Nazi occult experiments. The DVD hits stores January...
I'm leaving soon for Newark airport, where I'll catch a jet to Houston and then a connection to Shreveport, Louisiana. A degree of revelry and exploration this evening followed by a day of Straw Dogs inquiry with director-writer Rod Lurie and the cast -- Kate Bosworth, James Marsden, Alexander Skarsgard, James Woods and Dominic Purcell. A Shreveport Hilton staffer says their wifi is fast and steady,...
This columnist will be Straw Dog-ging it down in Shreveport, Louisiana, at the end of next week. Roughly two days, in and out. Director-writer Rod Lurie, costars James Marsden, Kate Bosworth, Alexander Skarsgard, James Woods and Dominic Purcell. I'm going to definitely visit the Stray Cat on Travis Street -- i.e., the place where Josh Brolin and Jeffrey Wright got into a situation with the local fuzz...
Lionsgate ramdonly released Joel Schumacher’s Blood Creek, formerly known as Creek, into theaters this weekend! The chiller, starring Dominic Purcell, Henry Cavill and Michael Fassbender, is debuting in Memphis, Dallas, Orlando and a handful of other cities, says The Bloodshot Eye. Creek has been listed on Lionsgate’s press site for months now under “coming soon.” The movie...
I ran across this picture of Dominic Purcell from 2002 when he was starring in John Doe, and I began to wonder – does he look better with his hair longer or shaved? He obviously had to cut it for the role of Prison Break, in order to play an inmate, but do you think he should grow it out again? I just finished watching the whollllllle show. Seasons One to Four. Plus “The Final Break”. The show is split into two halves really. Season 1 and 2 deal with Michael Schofield’s (Wentworth Miller) plan to break his innocent brother Lincoln Burrows (Dominic Purcell) out of a maximum security prison – Fox River State Penitentiary – where he is on death row for murdering...
Some more cast members have been revealed for Rod Lurie's "re-imagining" of Sam Peckinpah's controversial '70s thriller Straw Dogs , which is good because it just started filming in Shreveport, LA. Like, yesterday. James Woods (one of my favorite creeps ) has joined the cast, as have Willa Holland and Dominic Purcell; however, there's no real info on who they will be playing, as the three...
As you may or may not know, director Rod Lurie is remaking the controversial and uncomfortable Sam Peckinpah joint Straw Dogs. The original film, which centered around rape, harassment and the inferiority complex of Dustin Hoffman’s character David Sumner, is a violent and off-kilter piece of work. While it’s unlikely the remake will capture the gusto of [...]
Finally some news about Dominic!! Director Rod Lurie updated his Facebook page to let us know that James Woods and Dominic Purcell have joined the cast of his upcoming remake of Straw Dogs! They join James Marsden and Kate Bosworth in the remake of Sam Peckinpah’s 1971 masterpiece in which a young couple fall prey to escalating harassment from a group of small town locals. The synopsis reveals...

Prison Break centers on Lincoln Burrows (Dominic Purcell) who is on death row for a crime he did not commit. His brother Michael (Wentworth Miller) decides to get incarcerated in order to free his brother and prove his innocence. Michael aligns himself with other prisoners as well as his one and only outside ally, defense attorney and longtime friend Veronica Donovan, to prove Lincoln’s innocence.
Scofield was sentenced to five years at Fox River Penitentiary, where, by a stunning coincidence, his brother Lincoln Burrows (Dominic Purcell) was spending his last month on Death Row, awaiting execution for the murder of the brother of the U.S. vice president.

There’s only one legitimate place I’ve found to watch it, the rest seem like scams :-/ You can watch it over here though: http://www.vostuu.com/prisonbreak.html
