The screen-to-stage adaptation of the smash 1980 film failed to connect with critics in the spring and audiences in the summer. Last week "9 to 5" made just under $700,000 and played to 70% capacity. Those numbers pale next to the $1 million-plus gross of many of the rialto's top musicals....
