I was going to go out today, but I woke up with the fatigue monster knocking me on my butt, so I decided after I was done doing the dishes, I'd pop some popcorn and watch a movie. Back in June when Harvey Korman died, I inquired about Mel Brooks's movies on Wyatt's post. Crazy Politico was kind enough to recommend some movies, three of which I haven't seen. Just found out about the passing of actor and comic, Harvey Korman, best known for his part as Tim Conway's straight man and foil, on television's Carol Burnett Show, Korman was also a standard player, in many a Mel Brook's film, including Blazing Saddles and Spaceballs. His wit, wonderful expressions and timing, will be missed by comedy lovers everywhere.

Harvey Korman , comedic genius, passed away May 29th, 2008 at the age of 81. Here's a link to a fine story about his life and career. I loved watching Harvey on the Carol Burnett Show. I never missed it. He won 4 grammys for his work there. Classic funny man Harvey Korman passed away last week, and fuzzles reminded me about a dentist sketch from the awesome Carol Burnett Show . Tim Conway is the obvious comedian here, but Harvey Korman's inability to keep a straight face makes it even funnier. What a great comic duo they were!
