"We" are already heisting Iraq's oil, or at least are on the brink of doing so. It started with no-bid service contracts announced for Exxon Mobil, Chevron, Shell, BP and Total... Iraq is being forced to sell 75% of its national patrimony to pay the bills for its own illegal invasion and occupation.

People who've lived all along far outside their fantasy world would still call it "Iraq." Thomas Friedman and David Brooks, both of the New York Same Old Treason Times, are now saying that, clearly, our Troops' surge in Iraq has worked. (Jerry Doyle) They credit it for making Iraq "no longer an unremitting horror story," and the Bush administration for "actually (getting) this one right."

About three weeks ago I posted a blog where I wrote: “Angels new radio home off to a good start.” Forget what I said. The Angels new radio home - as Bart Simpson once famously put - both sucks and blows. I, like thousands of other Angels fans, eagerly awaited the first spring training game today to be [...]

Houston's two largest talk radio stations – KPRC/950 and KTRH/740 are doing a major programming makeover that will take effect on July 30. However, don't expect an emergence of liberal talk radio in Texas’ largest radio market. The Clear Channel programming execs are just moving around the furniture for the mostly right-wing and a few apolitical talkers who they will be offering. Yes, the state that...

A new poll is out , showing Americans' dissatisfaction with the Iraq War. 77% say the war is going badly, and 40% want the troops to leave Iraq. Unless things turn around dramatically in Iraq in the coming weeks - unlikey - there's no reason to think these numbers won't escalate. I listen to talk radio from time to time - right wing talkers, of course, because that's all we have here in the middle...
