I was thinking only the other day about a TV series I remembered from way back, starring Ken Stott as a failing DJ who took a job running hospital radio in a Scottish mental hospital. Last Friday evening we saw Tasmina Reza's God of Carnage at the Gielgud. I enjoy the gentle humour of Love Soup (as well as the Archers ), so we were both looking forward to seeing Tamsin Greig on stage. I'm not a fan of Ian Rankin's Rebus , so I felt indifferent about Ken Stott. As I've mentioned before, Janet McTeer blew me away in Mary Stuart , and I was really loking forward to seeing her again....

The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian, the second film in the series, after the immensely successful first installment The Lion, the Witch and the Wardobe, continues its tradition of dramatically adapting and ingeniously altering from C S Lewis' Narnian saga. Only this time, grit and combat take precedence over emotion and enchantment.
