Ahoy, squirts! here. This is a weird bit of recasting. Originally Javier Bardem was to star in Francis Ford Coppola's next flick, TETRO, but his schedule ended up not working out. Instead of just recasting, Coppola got to thinking about the character and decided to rewrite it to change the sex of the lead and has now cast Carmen Maura.Fans of Alex de la Iglesia's work will remember her from LA COMMUNIDAD...

It’s a curious mash up of a film and, honestly, some parts of the mix look to work much better than others but the good stuff looks quite good indeed.
