Today we had a very special shopper at Iksentrik. Anybody who knows me well, knows my love for all things Muppets and Jim Henson’s Creature Shop. If you didn’t know, it is one of the main reasons why I moved to England was to potentially work for the studio in London. I truly felt like a [...]

I know we traveled...

There is nothing quite so special to a 2-year-old as getting serenaded by Sesame Street's Elmo . CC got to experience that firsthand last week, when Elmo (along with longtime "Sesame Street" performer Kevin Clash ) called to sing "CC's World." It was adorable and made my toddler's day. She was already a fan of the furry little red monster -- he's stiff competition to her parents...

Halloween has once again come and gone. Not only did we eat our weight in sweets, but we encouraged strangers' children to do the same. And while we work off those extra calories in preparation for indulging on Thanksgiving turkey (which we'll burn off before gaining Christmas dinner calories, which we'll burn off before Groundhog's Day brunch... it's an endless cycle), let's take a peek-a-roo at all...

My mother plopped me and my siblings in front of the TV whenever Sesame Street was on, not only because she believed it was a good show...

Created at least in part du to popular demand, Farscape: The Peacekeeper Wars will provide some closure to fans who were dismayed by the demise of the popular science fiction television show in 2003 and campaigned mightily to bring it back. Indeed, this miniseries (originally broadcast over two nights on the Sci-Fi Channel) will likely appeal primarily to the Farscape faithful, as the somewhat convoluted
