(2000) Joel Schumacher's low-key, gritty military drama stars Colin Farrell as a draftee into the Vietnam war. Determined to avoid being shipped out, he decides to rebel only for his superiors to decide his insubordination shows rare intelligence and he should be groomed as officer material...
Henry Cavill shows some intensity in a new still from the Joel Schumacher film Blood Creek, being dumped to DVD in January. One more shot, AFTER THE JUMP...
Honestly, I enjoyed the hell out of this film, which was directed by Joel Schumacher and stars Dominic Purcell, Henry Cavill and, briefly, Michael Fassbender. It’s a mix of action, the occult, Nazi mayhem, but it’s also a creature feature (with zombie f**kin’ horses and dogs) and a siege picture in some respects with a dose of EC Comics atmosphere.
Everybody makes mistakes, even a three-time Super Bowl winning football coach like Bill Belichick. If a man like Belichick can cause a series of fatal game-changing events due to one bad coaching call — as he did during the fourth quarter of last night's game pitting his New England Patriots against the Indianapolis Colts — [...]

It sounds like a Buck Rogers plot, or a rave remix of Pink Floyd, but it's the very latest news from our very nearest astronomical neighbor. The Japanese SELENE mission (SELenological and ENgineering Explorer) has probed the far side of...
Precious opens on Friday, but Mo'Nique's performance has been gushed about all year. A compilation. Stephen Holden, The New York Times: "Mo'Nique...gives an award-worthy performance in Precious that makes Mary's monstrous behavior not only...
HE HAS fought the Gremlins, survived the blades of Jason Voorhees in Friday The 13th movies and been splattered with more fake blood than Freddy Krueger's stunt double.
Though MPI, IFC Films has announced several more DVD releases for the first part of 2010, most notably Philippe Garrel's Frontier of the Dawn [ La frontière de l'aube ] for 26 January. The only worthwhile Blu-ray I saw announced was a 20th anniversary edition of Martin Scorsese's Goodfellas from Warner, slated for 16 February. Lionsgate also announced a Joel Schumacher film that I (predictably)...
Lionsgate Home Entertainment has released the DVD street date for BLOOD CREEK, the Joel Schumacher-directed chiller that was only shown in a couple of theaters in September. BLOOD CREEK (previously known as TOWN CREEK and just plain CREEK), stars Dominic Purcell and Henry Cavill as brothers seeking vengeance against a group continuing decades-old Nazi occult experiments. The DVD hits stores January...

http://hubpages.com/hub/Batman-1966 I always loved the 1960s TV show and this film, but the Joel Schumacher sequels totally ruined what Tim Burton created. Then again, it paved the way for Christopher Nolan's enthralling and realistic take on the caped crusader.
Kiefer Sutherland and Jack McCollough may have patched up after the headbutting incident between the two early this month, but apparently there was more at stake for the 24 star. All that coverage about who did what and why–all those finger-pointing, in other words–allegedly almost cost the actor a role in an upcoming movie.
