Ugh! I'm sick of adverts telling us films like this are "by" Tim Burton. The film wasn't "by" Tim Burton, nor was it "from" Tim Burton, he funded it. He didn't write it, he didn't direct it, he just produced it and that usually involves funding it or adverts to make it more well known. It's not the first time a film has been misleading in telling us things like the film...

While movie theatres aren't quite desperate enough to offer flu vaccinations to ticket buyers, they'll do everything else they can to get seats filled during the coming holiday season. Boffo box office would be like a booster shot for a business plagued with the same worries as so many industries.

Lensing of U.S. productions Down Under has hit a dry spell, with not one big-budget Hollywood feature shot in Oz in the past 12 months - the first yearlong lapse in nearly 20 years. The drought was highlighted in the annual Screen Australia Drama Production Survey, which showed foreign production in Australia had plunged from A$251 million ($227 million) last year to just $20 million in 2008-09.

Paramount Pictures wants to reward all of the internet moviegoers which helped make Paranormal Activity a viral phenomenon. Sure, some might argue that the marketing campaign was a very calculated attempt to make it feel like the audience "made the success" of the movie, and those people might not be wrong (but who cares? really...). Paramount is now taking that marketing concept to the release...

For months, I've had so much coming at me, that I just keep treading water, and eventually, I just started floating and watching it all go by, responding only to those things that demanded my response. It's just about getting from here to there. I'm not unhappy, I'm just tired. When your husband's job consumes your lives for 36 months, you just have to be grateful for what it gives you, and wait all...
