In May we told you that Hollywood was going to develop a movie based on the television show American Gladiators. I had hoped it would be one of those projects that would slip into nothingness, never to be heard from again. Not so... Patriot Games/Varsity Blues scribe Peter Iliff will write a screenplay based on an idea by former Legendary Pictures chief marketing officer Scott Mednickis (Teenage Mutant...

Last year, Twilight proved to zillions of shrieking Twi-hards that no matter how passionately you love a florid, overwritten, hilarious book, the movie can be even better . How will this year's installment, New Moon , fare with a new director (the non-vagina-having Chris Weitz) and a new love interest (Jacob Black, played by Taylor Lautner)? Good news! Once again, Hollywood magic has delivered a version...

The most anticipated movie of the year ‘Twilight Saga: New Moon’ is getting real negative reviews, especially directed towards the director Chris Weitz. The critics define the movie as dull, slow and overall gloomy romantic, which means it will appeal to Twi-hard but will probably not make new fans. The choice for the director was questionable [...]

Ok, so finally Twilight New Moon has been released in theatres. Now I obviously recommend any true fan of the The Twilight Saga series to go watch it in theatres for the first time. But I also know, that true fans will definitely want to watch it more than once. None of us can get enough of Bella and Edward, and the Twilight universe, which is why I went searching on Google for a website where we can

Neil squeals about Team Jacob in his review of the highly anticipated The Twilight Saga: New Moon while Kevin struts around the Magical Studio in the Sky with no shirt on, desperately hoping people will mistake him for Taylor Lautner. There's also a bizarre discussion of where Somali Pirates might fit into one of this week's movies... how does that all work? Listen and find out!

This weekend the talk is going to be all about The Twilight Saga: New Moon and early reports from Nikki Finke say it has a chance to beat the midnight numbers turned in by The Dark Knight in 2008. Unfortunately, the film didn't hit home with critics as the 49% RottenTomatoes rating the first film [...]

The first "Twilight" movie was better than it had any right to be, given its meager plot and cardboard-cutout characters. Though the film was replete with altogether too many scenes of leads Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) and Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson) staring longingly into each other's eyes, director Catherine Hardwicke managed to craft an interesting world for the two to inhabit. That...

It's too long, it's poorly acted, the story's clunky and the dialogue is laughable. But, "New Moon" at least has more of a sense of humor and, thanks to a bigger budget and more assured direction by Chris Weitz (Catherine Hardwicke directed the first film), a little more energy.

Huh? Oh boy, I can hear the fanboy complaints already. But you know what, this is one I have to question as well. The Gods of Asgard are part of Norse mythology. Even if there are black Norwegians out there somewhere (which I doubt, but I suppose anything’s possible), they’ve gotta be the tiniest of minorities. This [...]

Critics all seem to agree that delivers what it is supposed to deliver -- in the words of Elizabeth Weitzman in the New York Daily News, "swooning romance, PG-13 thrills, and enough sharp cheekbones and shirtless boys to carry any adolescent over to the next installment." Few of them even attempt to appraise the movie for its artistic quality, the apparent thinking being, "Why bother?"...

This week's wide releases - The Blind Side Planet 51 The Twilight Saga: New Moon Precious Where to start, where to start. You know there is only going to be one title on the lips of the masses this weekend. No, it is not going to be The Blind Side , so stop being silly. New Moon opens this weekend and it is sure to do insane business. Frankly, I doubt it matters much if the movie is even halfway decent....

Consider for a moment how much it would cost to go see The Twilight Saga: New Moon in the theater. The price adds up pretty quickly after buying tickets, popcorn, and a drink. Now, what if for the same amount of money, you could download The Twilight Saga: New Moon and over 100 million other files that you can watch on your computer or burn to DVD. Not really a hard decision is it? As you read this,...
