While there are numerous improvements for the 2010 model year Suzuki SX4, why did this Japanese automaker decide to confuse consumers with a nigh on indecipherable model and options list? This vehicle is already this countrys most underrated and under-purchased small car so why make it harder to buy one? Perhaps they were spending all their free...

The latest episode of CSI: New York, “Cuckoo’s Nest”, came out on top in the ratings for Wednesday, November 18. The show was down from the numbers it posted as part of the three-series crossover last week, but “Cuckoo’s Nest” pulled in enough viewers to make it the third-highest rated episode of the season so [...]

This was a reader suggestion, and a good one: Zvonimir wants to know how many of us WoW players use a Mac to play the game. Blizzard has steadfastly put out Mac and Windows versions of all their games ever since the original Warcraft , but this is not at all the norm in the industry. There are only a few other major MMOs I can think of that even have official Mac versions ( EVE , Warhammer , City...

The best finance book I've read so far this year (and I've read a slew of them) is Robert C. Pozen's Too Big to Save? How to Fix the U.S. Financial System. But it fits in a somewhat specialized niche. If you are new to the current crisis, it is not the first book you should read on the topic. For narrative framework, I'd recommend this or this , either followed by this . No: instead of overview, what...

There's no question that Laurence Fishburne is a fine actor, as anyone who has seen his best film work can attest, or that CSI remains a fine TV show. Yet fresh on the heels of last week's reasonably well-watched but creatively disastrous CSI/Miami/NY triple crossover, it may be time to admit that Fishburne's stint on CSI isn't working, at least not to the extent CSI needs. Considering the relative...

Its good to be getting back to the old csi routine. Not that I didnt enjoy the crossover week but New York and Miami arent my thing and the case was vaguely confusing. Lovers Lane was a traditional look at all the craziness of society and the endless possibilities of murder mysteries. The Case: During a bowling tournament, the head of a worker at the alley is discovered in the ball machine of all places...

Background: Caffeine is known to inhibit phosphodiesterases, to mobilise intracellular calcium, and to act as an antagonist at adenosine receptors, all of which can potentially alter nitric oxide (NO) production. It was therefore hypothesised that caffeine may alter exhaled NO (eNO) levels. Methods: In a randomised, single blind, crossover manner, 12 normal subjects consumed either (1) coffee and a...
