... of Jesuit education. ... She's not alone. Well, The American Culture doesn't go so far as to call Iron Man a Catholic Batman, but it does a very nice piece on the redemptive quality of the movie and concludes: It's no surprise that Iron Man benefits from impressive special effects and action sequences, but it is somewhat surprisng and pleasing that it has some truly serious ideas...

Last time, I was actually correct for the second time in two weeks, for the most part. There aren't too many surprises this Mother’s Day weekend, but considering the downticket box-office, some respected filmmakers might be needing some maternal TLC right now. *It's safe to say that “Iron Man” director Jon Favreau ain't one of them. In [...]

Buzz and I finally got to see Iron Man last night. We had the pleasure and privilege of sitting next to a Iron Man himself... well, a boy in a costume, but still. About two scenes in I realized Gwyneth Paltrow had a large role and was ready to be upset for the rest of the movie. Shock of all shocks: I liked her! I really liked her! She looked darling with her strawberry blonde hair and...

I've never been interested in superhero movies, but this movie was AWESOME! I would actually see it again and probably will be buying the DVD. It was fun and humorous without being cheesy. Robert Downy Jr was cast...

So, I finally got the chance to see Iron Man last night. The previews and reviews were spectacular, and I wanted to make sure I saw the film in the theaters. I drug Fish along for the ride, grabbed some popcorn, and was prepared to be entertained. Iron Man did not disappoint. Naturally, the storyline was solid and the action scenes were phenomenal. With their budget, how could they not...

Robert Downey Jr . was not first choice to star in 'Iron Man'. The 43-year-old actor had to beg the film's director Jon Favreau to give him the lead role of billionaire weapons developer Tony Stark in the Hollywood blockbuster. He said: "I thought I would be perfect for the part. But they weren't necessarily thinking of me right away." " Jon Favreau said, 'Look, it's probably not going to happen.'

Check out the video below! Director Jon Favreau had planned for the Audi R8 to be used in a final scene by being involved in a dramatic collision with Iron Man's wicked adversary. This had to be omitted from the final cut, Director...
