Superhero team-ups have been a grand tradition in the comic book industry fro decades now. And which two heroes are more prone to holding hands and clobbering bad guys than Superman and Batman? These days Batman is just as likely to punch Superman in the face with a Kryptonite boxing glove, but they never seem to stop spending time together.

The news that Paul Levitz is "transitioning out" of his position as publisher and president of DC Comics is not good news for the publishing industry. Note the word "publishing" in that sentence. The revenues generated by Superman, Batman, Wonder...
