Alexander McQueen presented his Spring 2010 collection during Fashion Week last month where some of his models wore these Python “Armadillo” heels. The shoes measure at a whopping 12 inches tall! I’m surprised those models didn’t fall while walking down the runway. Love muffins, what do you think of McQueen’s shy high heels? Do you [...]

Appropriately enough, today Slate ran a slideshow run-down on the history of skulls in fashion. Once scary, then edgy, and now solidly entrenched in the chic mainstream, the look is everywhere. Evidence of that fact is Alexander McQueen’s knuckle duster, which is priced well over a grand, yet somehow still sold out everywhere in black [...] More Like This: Fashion Week Editor’s Pick: The...

Tokyo Fashion Week went on as usual despite the recession's effect on Japan's consumer spending. Dress33 showed bright colors and cellophane hats. Be sure to check out designer Toshikazu Iwaya's amazing alligator cuff earring. It was actually hard to focus on what he was saying, because he looks like he has a baby alligator about to crawl into his ear. No wonder they call him Japan's Alexander McQueen....

The new track from the mysterious and magical Lady Gaga hit the airwaves on Monday! Gaga's new single, "Bad Romance," debuted at the Alexander McQueen show during Paris Fashion Week, and the superstar also performed a one-minute snippet of the song on the piano on "Saturday Night Live" on October 3. "Bad Romance" is a robotic dance track filled with ooh-la-las, gibberish...

It's so sad that Lady GaGa and KanYe's "Fame Kills"-spectacle, the first ever pop-electro-opera got killed due to the aftermaths of KanYe's VMA meltdown but after rain comes... shine. To promote the re-release of GaGa's debut album "The Fame", now released with the title "The Fame Monster" the 24th of November, GaGa reissued a new North American/Australian tour called...

The accessories in Paris were in a realm of their own. From McQueen's towering, curved platforms to John Galliano's erotically-inspired heels, there was definitely a foot fetish this season. The bondage theme we saw happening in New York continued at Givenchy and Marant, with straps and buckles galore. Lanvin opted for a safari moment while Louis Vuitton took on the clog. See all these and more in...
