During London Fashion Week I met up-and-coming menswear designer Calum Harvey. Uber talented with the world at his feet, I had to get into the mind and soul of this young inspiration... Calum is 21, originally from Laxey , Isle of Man, currently residing in Brixton , London. He started his creative path by studying Art & Design, then he went on to get his degree in Fashion Design at Ravensbourne...

As relaxes in the Hamptons (like Helmut Lang did when he left his name-sake label), or tends to his garden (a la Jil Sander), there must be interviews galore at the Maison MM. After all when Renzo Russo, creator of Diesel and majority shareholder of Margiela, announced after Paris Fashion Week earlier this month that Martin was no longer at the design helm of the brand (although...

It’s the last day of Fashion Week and we’re experiencing all the mental fatigue and junk food overload that that entails. So we’re glad for this video of Claymation figures rocking out in Dior Homme. Just the brain candy we needed. [Fashionista] Fashion Journalism Superhunk and bear-poop enthusiast Hamish Bowles will be an extra in Oliver [...]

Spring beauty means focus. Makeup artists in Milan and Paris for the most part had one main feature as the center of attention: the eyes, the lips, the hair, but not all at once. Of course, that doesn't mean you'll be skipping on products next season. Balenciaga decked out eyes with a mix of neon and tribal influence, while Lanvin 's charcoal-smoky look topped the list of seductive peepers. Prada...

As always, the best Fashion Week is last! The shows in Paris gave spring 2010 its defining trends. From harder couturelike construction at Balenciaga and McQueen to the feminine froth of Chanel and Nina Ricci, it was a season of choice. From the tattered tees and frayed jackets at Balmain to the exquisite draping at Lanvin, this city proves that it's in a class of its own. Narrowing down to the top...

John Galliano sent models down the catwalk in their underwear at the first day of Paris’ Couture Fashion Week yesterday. The ‘Fever in the Cabine’ Christian Dior collection was inspired by shows put on in the 50s, and featured models in jackets and knickers, and skirts and bras. Galliano was inspired by a picture of Dior backstage [...]

Paris Fashion Week usually gives rise to an emerging runway star, but this season was overrun with the tried-and-true favorites. While some newbies managed to chalk up some opening and closing slots, the old guard showed up in force. Eva Herzigova , Natalia Vodianova , and Daria Werbowy all made special appearances when they opened and closed Hermès , Stella McCartney , and Balmain , respectively....

Paris fashion week, showcasing SS10 rtw collections, has just finished. I was very much looking forward to seeing what the designers would come up with, espcially Dior, after seeing it's couture AW09 collection which was a complete 1950s lingerie fest. The ready to wear collections tend to be a lot more wearable and commercial than the couture collections but Dior again featured a lot of lingerie...
