An old friend and I dropped into the Doc Marten store in London today for a spot of window shopping, and not for the first time, I was really impressed with how much the range has grown. The label has stayed true to its alternative roots, but with some really clever tweaking.

Now, I haven't felt the need to wear Doc Marten boots since my schooldays in the '90s, and while I don't have any desire to re-visit the steelie-toed 'police' boots I used to wear, I do miss the quality and sturdiness you can always guarantee when you by a pair of DMs.
