Yes, Furry Lewis was primarily a bluesman, but he played and sang solo almost exclusively in the latter decades of his life, and for the most part he did his own material. I believe his first "hit" that was covered during the blues revival of the Sixties is "I Will Turn Your Money Green": After so many decades, Furry would mix and match verses from his many songs.
