LAURA Marling is an enormously talented young woman, and this song showcases everything that is so exceptional about her. Her sublime voice and poetic lyrics combine with staggeringly beautifully dark instrumentation that reminds of vintage Pentangle and Sandy Denny, Portishead and yet is characteristically her sound alone. Wonderful stuff.
