The election season is in full swing, and if you're like me, you can't wait for it to end. Luckily, if you're a Republican living in a handful of states, the primary season is already over before it began. John McCain clinched the GOP nomination, and now your vote doesn't mean diddly. Thankfully, your scheduled primary day doesn't need to be wasted . . . Things To Do In Pennsylvania When You're

You're probably more familiar with "I Ran (So Far Away)", which still gets some play. This fact has absolutely no bearing on this post, but maybe someday that'll be a trivia question you have to answer. I'll take "Other Songs By One Hit Wonders"...

Being a teenager ruled, no responsibility and loud music. Pretty cool. Here's a FNM edition with the bands that rocked my teen years starting with Triumph whose lyrics when I was young were gospel, They were a poor man's Rush but Rik Emmitt rocked despite his questionable choice in clothes: Next we have Queen and Freddie Mercury with David Bowie, two unusual dudes to say the least. My new favourite band(s) God help me, I've discovered I have a liking for female-fronted electro-futurist music acts. Who knew? I am not certain if it's the music, the style, the attitude, or simply because of the very, very short skirts. For starters, it should be noted that this Barcelona isn't the same Barcelona that recorded such nerdy indie pop tunes as “Paging Systems Operator” and “I Have the Password To Your Shell Account”. No, that Barcelona has long been broken up, unfortunately, though they do live on in follow-up group Sprites, to some extent. This [...]
