Cardiff pop troupe Los Campesinos! are still card-carrying members of the International Tweexcore Underground, but that doesn't mean they can't up the distortion. They're just making like Some Velvet Sidewalk or Crayon, who as part of LC!'s beloved early/mid '90s International Pop Underground (see Beat Happening, Heavenly), mixed twee sugar with distorted rock.
