The Wild, The Innocent & The E Street Shuffle is a love song to characters and the worlds that flow around them. The songs are lyrically dense (in a good way), the music is compositionally sweet and Bruce knew his fans wanted another go-around with it, so he played it in full this weekend. Standing in a chilly Downing Street waiting to address the nation on "Birogate" during the Martin Stanford show, I couldn't believe what I was hearing in my earpiece. It sounded like a rock concert. My oh my what one win can do for my confidence in the Buckeyes. Penn State is not an especially good team this year (they've lost by double digits to the two good teams they've played this year) but winning in front of a hostile crowd on the road, and doing so in a game in which the Buckeyes took care of the football, controlled field position and never allowed Penn State to actually get in the end...

Legendary Bruce Springsteen announced on his website that his show in Kansas City on Monday (October 26) had been cancelled due to the tragic death of a family member. It was later revealed, Bruce’s cousin, Lenny Sullivan, who worked as an assistant tour manager, had passed away at the age of 36.
