Uneasy does it ZU / DR SLAGGLEBERRY / DRUNKENSTEIN, 4TH OCTOBER 2009, OXFORD WHEATSHEAF Tiresomely convoluted songs? Cursory nods to Faith No More overshadowed by gothy bluster and Chili Peppers style slap bass? A theatrical frontman who looks like the Bee Gees' Robin Gibb, who has a distressing penchant for a maniacal laugh that Dr Evil would think too contrived, and who reads some of his lyrics...
Ahhh, first off I would love to say thanks to the blogger of Faith No More's blog for giving me a shoutout in the links (you can get there by going to http://www.fnm.com/ and selecting Blog 2.0 in the COMMUNITY tab). That seriously made my day. And btw if you've come from there, this is the post you are looking for. I also feel like I should apologize to all the FNM fans who keep coming to my blog...
I cannot wait to see Faith No More on this tour and after seeing this performance of "Caffeine", I am getting antsy. They performed this at the Pepsi Music Festival 11/1/2010 in Buenos Aires, Argentina and it is the band at their finest. They are supposed to be announcing a slew of U.S. tour dates here soon according to their Twitter. When I get wind of these dates I will post them here....

Okay, this will be a doozey of a post so I'm gonna get try to the pictures first and then write later. Mike Patton (man, myth, legend) has so many projects and bands and whatnot that it's actually easier to lump them all into one "Inspiration" - of course, I had already done Faith No More and Mr. Bungle but this fashion shoot runs the gamut from Lovage to Tomahawk to whatever Italian opera...

Faith No More, one of the many bands of Mike Patton and one of the few bands to justify the existence of “funk-metal,” have, at last, announced plans to bring their reunion tour to these United States of America. The band, recently reunited after an 11-year break, have been playing a bevy of dates around the world on the cleverly titled “Second Coming” tour. Here's how it went...
On November 10, metalcore band Unearth will release a special edition set of its 2008 record, The March . Distributed by Metal Blade, the set comes with bonus tracks as well as a DVD of music videos, tour footage, making-of footage, live clips, and more. Okay, so what does this have to do with videogames, you ask? Up there is the world exclusive premiere of Unearth's music video for their track "Grave...

The Archangel: Stanage Edge E3 5b The Archangel is an immaculate arete on perfect rock which is just dying to be climbed. Archangel tak es the arete on its left side. The climb is totally unprotected, holdless and bold for about 9 metres, whereupon good cams can be placed and a rest had at a good break. The meat of the real climbing is then done but plenty of rock remains. I took a rope on my ascent...

To add to my ever growing list of new albums, today I bought that The Doors two disc set that I was on about the other day, as I needed change for the car park. As it is pay day I also treated myself to the following: The Unthanks - Here's The Tender Coming Billy Bragg - Talking With The Taxman About Poetry Portico Quartet - Isla And, I also just found a CD that I received a few months ago as a free...
