Over on MustangForums.com a member somehow stumbled upon a 200 plus acre Mustang Junkyard in the middle of nowhere in Rhode Island. The junkyard which was started in the 60’s is populated with heavy tree cover and brush and is said to house some 20,000 antique and classic cars all throughout the woods. According to [...]
While it seemed almost everyone was looking to San Francisco on Tuesday, Microsoft managed to sneak in a few surprises with their new lineup of anti-iPods coming up on September 16th. Many of the new features are actually software updates, so they should work on any existing Zune. The first is called Buy from FM and [...]
Duff McKagan's Loaded sounds like the name of a Broadway revue complete with a medley of memorable bass lines and a jazzy dance number to "One in a Million." The veteran rocker would even reenact scenes from GnR's early years: But Axl, we've come too far to give up now... But alas, D.M.L. is ju...
Just a song or two into their set, Seaweed singer Aaron Stauffer looked out to the crowd in front of him and laughed: "You know what you all look like? You look like that Fastbacks 7" with the crowd on it. That's what you look like. You haven't changed a bit! " It was 1994 all over againI was surrounded by a bunch of dudes with badly bleached, messy hair, button-up work shirts, and homemade Screaming...

1. Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim (Descendents) - Consistently gives you the same product every year: solid hitting, little power outside of Vlad Guerrero, but good pitching and enough runs produced via good base-running to get a division title, if not much further. Signing Torii Hunter wasn’t exactly the power bat needed, but with Garret [...]
I caught a great show at the Tractor last Friday night featuring the Beltholes and the Lowe Beats. With undeniable musical talent and a slightly warped sense of humor the Beltholes put on a highly rocking, extremely entertaining show. They sound like a crazy mash-up of Queen, Marty Robbins, The Dictators and Thin Lizzy. They've got a bunch of great songs, with complex arrangements that they pull off...
While looking for videos by the Fastbacks (how is there only one on YouTube??), I stumbled across the YouTube channel for Bohemia Visual Music Grunge TV , a Portland-based YouTuber who's uploading "music videos clips and concert footage along with interviews from Seattle to Portland and the rest of "The Great NorthWest" music scene from 1980's to 90's." There's a lot of worthy footage within, but...
