So, after a few limited edition EPs and amazing blog-friendly videos, THIS is apparently the BIG FIRST SINGLE from Marina And The Diamonds. The make-or-break, will she / won't she, last roll of the dice, final spin of the wheel, russian roulette gamble. Here's how I reacted to the song... First listen This is weird. The melody's all over the place. My mum will not be buying this down at Tesco*. Second...

plugged : Wave Machines - Keep The Lights On I was really surprised to find out these guys are from Liverpool and not some sun filled state of America. This track feels like it’s destined to live at the end of a chillout album, which is a shame because it deserves to be as far away as possible from the likes of Dido and James Blunt. I’m listening to the rest of the album right now, I expect...

It was a right royal party as Princess Beatrice's favourite haunt Boujis turned seven. Bea partied with boyfriend Dave Clark, James Blunt, Apprentice winner Simon Ambrose and Take That's Jason Orange who fell -literally - into the London club at 2am.

RIAA 's new album of mashups and cut-ups is some of the weirdest, wackiest stuff that they've recorded in the last year or two. Spike Jones, Roger Roger, old kiddie records, and rude sound effects mix with Neutral Milk Hotel, James Blunt and the soundtracks to "Psycho" and “Eraserhead” ; '60s garage rock and Latin boogaloo collide with modern funky electro beatz. Whimsical animal...

[Images: Mr Paparazzi / Big Pictures Words: Chloe Curran] When Take That’s celeb packed Singstar party at the Tabernacle finished last night Jason Orange clearly wasn’t ready to go home so rather than call it a night he hotfooted it from Notting Hill to Chelsea where Boujis nightclub were celebrating their 7th birthday. The worse for wear singer stayed inside the venue partying with the...

On one of my last nights in DC the other week, all of us girls in journalism crowded in a hotel room, got in bed and listened to my friend's infamous "Crying Playlist." I added some of my own songs that I love as well... Trust me, this shit will make you cry (pardon my french!) All of Me ~ Meiko Almost Lover ~ A Fine Frenzy And Now We Sing ~ Duncan Sheik feat. Holly Brook Belle ~ Jack Johnson...

670. Elevation - U2 (Island 2001, Brian Eno) It seems fitting that on the day that U2 were announced as Glastonbury headliners they'd make their début appearance on the top 1000. Of course Elevation is three minutes of non stop jiberish and posturing, each line is more simplistic and eye rolling than the last, yet it's hard to deny just how catchy this track is. This was U2 entering the decade...

WHERE Pirelli models flock, men are sure to follow. So it was no great surprise to see crooner James Blunt, who has dated a string of gorgeous women, at the launch of the 2010 Pirelli Calendar in London's Old Billingsgate market.

First of all, the man pictured above - songwriter, singer and twice Brit Award winner James Blunt, is not featured in the new 2010 Pirelli Calendar - sigh of relief... He's just one of the many celebrities that were chauffeured in Lamborghinis to Old Billingsgate, a 19th century building on the banks of the Thames in London, for the world premiere...
