More on the pub dearth in the Borough . Lewisham's Forum of Conservation and Amenity Societies is seeking to secure more protection for traditional pubs under threat from developers. TMFC says all power to their elbow. Apparently over the past 20 years, the number of pubs has gone down from 163 to 70 throughout the whole of Lewisham. That's over half. That's like losing a leg.
