Date: Sep 4th 2008 3:49p.m. Contributed by: baobabs Literally translated as "Honey Sour Milk", these traditional ceramic jars of goodness are the best yogurt I've had. Forget your RMB15 Danone from Jenny Lou's, pick up a jar of this fresh yogurt made and delivered every morning to your local xiaomaibu (provision shop) and finish it on the spot. The creamy taste of this peach pie comes from bone-friendly almond milk, instead of bone-hostile heavy cream. A big hit with my family, this is one recipe you won’t want to miss! You will need: Oven preheated to 400 degrees. 1 9″ pie pan 2 pie doughs for top and bottom crusts 2 large mixing bowls 1 egg 3 tbsp flour 1/4 tsp [...]

From Science News: Honey of a Discovery. The Bible refers to ancient Israel as the "land flowing with milk and honey," so it’s fitting that one of its towns milked honey for all it was worth. Scientists have unearthed the remains of a large-scale beekeeping operation at a nearly 3,000-year-old Israeli site, which dates to the [...]

I am experiencing an Oprah moment. No, not one of those moments when she makes you realise you can solve all of life’s problems by reducing the number of wire hangers in your closet. Rather, I’ve bitten into a chocolate eclair and silence overwhelms me for a split second, before I moan, Oh, honey, hush! [...]

Nearly 24 hrs after the death of two of the most sought after criminals , things in the land of milk and honey began to show signs of normal life. Indeed, the success of the joint services receded from the cover pages in the media.
