Since then we also learned that Hasan gave a medical lecture on beheading infidels and pouring burning oil down their throats...

Because for The Walt Disney Company, apparently, beating women is more palatable than "the gay" (as Rachel Maddow would say). (Yeah, I know, there's been a lot of Adam lately...

I don't know about you, but this year I'm grateful for many things. I'm still working on my contribution to this year's afternoon feast, sweet potato crumble and fresh bread. I'm timing it so that the bread will be cooling as we drive over to my brother's. Once again, it's been another wild year. What about you? Gratitude and ingratitude lists after the fold... Gratitude Family ... my wife, Elizabeth,...

Also set loose by the Obama White House this week: the latest batch of records on who comes into and goes out of the White House. Twinterviewing Patrick Ruffini. Rachel Maddow calls out a PR firm for anti-health care reform video games . There's a brand new Dems.gov in town, and yes it's running Drupal. Julius Genachowski does the Digg Dialogg circuit . Stimulus Watch gets an upgrade. And "the...

Well, at least, Howard Dean, Rachel Maddow’s guest host on her eponymous MSNBC show, reported that the death of Bill Sparkman was rule a suicide. He noted only that the show has reported the story, without referencing the hysterical assumptions Miss Maddow made. Wonder if she, when she returns from her Thanksgiving break, will apologize [...]

Last night I noticed that Howard Dean filled in for Rachel Maddow. I reiterate One of the most obvious means we have of telling that Fox News is not a news network is its revolving door between Republican politics and and Fox "news." The network is run by Republican operatives and employs Republican politicians, strategists, operatives, and hacks as hosts, commentators, and analysts. The...

Remember that dead census worker who MSNBC wingnut Rachel Maddow hyped as possible evidence of anti-government sentiment leading to violence ? Yeah, it turns out it was just another case of Greenspan's Body Count. Police: Census worker made death look like homicide to get money : Authorities cited a number of reasons supporting the conclusion that Sparkman killed himself. For instance, there was no...

Last night the customary twinkle wasn't in attendance in Howard Dean's eyes as he subbed for Rachel Maddow and gave the lowdown about the travesty of a health care "reform" bill that even in its current, fellate-the-insurance-companies form, can't seem to pass muster with the four biggest corporate whores in the Senate: Forget that the good Doctor isn't comfortable with a teleprompter. Here's my take on health care: Why bother anymore? Seriously. If you haven't watched tonight's Rachel Maddow, I highly recommend doing so. My worst fear is true. The bill as it stands will not allow coverage to be denied for pre-existing conditions. That's nice. But they are allowed to charge you enormous premiums if you have a pre-existing condition. That's what I expected and what I feared. Earlier...

Just watching Howard Dean fill in for Rachel Maddow. He is he most uncomfortable looking person I've ever seen. Like a back row Baptist at a Pentecostal revival. He appears to have more wood up his ass than Adam Lambert.
