The Owlz posted their third shutout victory, including a 6-0 win over Casper on June 25 and an earlier 13-0 win against Great Falls on July 10. Donato Giovanatto and Luis Jimenez both had home runs as Orem had a 15-2 advantage in the hitting department.

Luis Jimenez clubbed a three-run homer and the Owlz sent 14 men to the plate in a nine-run first inning as Orem finished with a season-high 19 hits in their 17-5 win over Billings on Sunday. The 17 runs also set a season record, besting the previous high of 13.
