The security check to get in was no worse than an airport check. In the 15 minutes I've been inside the perimeter I've seen Morgan Spurlock (from 30 Days and Super Size Me), Senator Schumer and Randi Rhodes. Its going to take a while to get over being star-struck. I'm thinking it may take about 4 days.

The hush has turned into the quiet. The calm before the proverbial storm. Tomorrow I start my new schedule, and I'm nervous. It didn't help that I just watched 30 Days - the Morgan Spurlock series, and watched the one where he tries to live on minimum wage for 30 days. I, of course, will be on far more than minimum wage. I shouldn't be worrying about making ends meet. And yet I am. Cutting down to...

Eating a hamburger every day for two weeks produces strange effects. I don't mean the physical deterioration graphically recorded in Morgan Spurlock's documentary Super Size Me about the effects of consuming Big Macs and fries for 30 days on the trot (he put on 11.1 kilos). It is possible to be spared such ballooning by downsizing the portions, though you are never actually going to lose weight by...

Morgan Spurlock ate McDonald's for 30 days , gained 25 pounds, and had health problems. US swimmer Ryan Lochte has eaten McDonald's for "almost every meal" since he arrived in Beijing and has won four Olympic medals . His fellow swimmer Michael Phelps doesn't eat so healthy either . In a sport where you can win or lose by tenths or hundredths of seconds, I wonder what impact a proper diet would have...

Morgan Spurlock is famous for his brain-numbingly, left-wing, and bad documentaries. He ate McDonald's every day for 30 days, got fat, got sick, and was even told by a doctor that he had to quit early before he got really,...

Morgan Spurlock became famous for his Oscar nominated film "Super Size Me," where he lived exclusively on McDonald's fast food for 30 days. He has now replicated the concept into an entire TV series called "30 Days." The premise of his show is to take people with radically different points of view and pair them [...]

When I saw Morgan Spurlock's Supersize Me, it actually made me want to eat McDonalds. And then today, when I watched this parody video he made about becoming a vampire for 30 days, sure enough, it made me want to...

Being fans of scripted television, we've been generally unimpressed by reality television shows. We recognize the entertainment value and cultural impact of shows like American Idol , and Morgan Spurlock's 30 Days has given some cred to the genre. We'd also totally watch MILF Island . All that being said, we can't understand the appeal of shows devoted simply to the lives of rich people like Paris...

I really like the 30 Days series Morgan Spurlock does on the FX Channel. Admittedly, some of the episodes can be rather cheesy, but I usually find even those worth watching. If you are not familiar with the premise of the show, it basically involves having someone who is fairly set in their beliefs challenge themselves by experiencing something very different from their norm. One episode had former...

I watched FX's "30 Days" hosted by Morgan Spurlock last night. It was about a woman who is a gun control activist who moves in with a family of sharp shooters and gun rights enthusiasts. It was very well done and by the end she admitted that she understood why people hold the 2 nd Amendment close to their heart. At one point the gun control activist takes the gun rights guy to meet women who have lost...
