I've had a call back from the Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares production team who say that there are "definitely no restaurants from Belfast" signed up for the new series. I asked were there any from the North at all. Brief silence....

Jeff Jarvis says he's writing a metaphorical application of Google principles to running a restaurant. Over the last few weekends, while sorting out stuff at home, I've been watching Gordon Ramsey's Kitchen Nightmares which BBC America seems to be playing continuously at weekends. If you haven't seen it, do watch some - each episode, Ramsey spends a week at a failing restaurant in the UK and tries...

Gordon's back on the prowl for restaurants that don't cut the mustard. I must have inadvertently got myself on one of the Channel 4 mailing lists, as I got an email this morning about Kitchen Nightmares. "If you're struggling to make a success of your restaurant, help is at hand". They also want to hear from people who have had a bad dining experience. A certain burger joint springs to mind. But hey,...

I don’t know if this is such a good idea, but I’ve been watching Gordon Ramsay’s kitchen nightmares, re-reading the Cluetrain Manifesto and helping a client write a set of guidelines for social media . And I just realised what each has in common… Voice Ramsay, when you remove the f*** word, talks always about authenticity and simple, [...]
