Very distressing: If we hadn’t been following the mystery that is the development of Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel, we’d never know that Chuck’s Zachary Levi has a role in it. He’s still missing in the latest trailer, which focuses more on David Cross, whose character Ian is now in cahoots with the Chipettes, the

According to their interview, Chuck star Zachary Levi was apparently cast in the Kenneth Branagh-directed film to play Fandral the Dashing. He also said that at one point [...]

In an interview with several journalists, Levi once said that he got a warm up to direct the “Chuck” episode from a short film called “The Chase”. The one-minute short was featured during “The Biggest Loser” episode on October 13. He said, “NBC brought the idea up and I wanted to use it as practice for directing Chuck. Hiring the crew from Chuck helped us accomplish a lot in a few days.”

Zachary Levi starred as computer geek and social misfit Chuck Bartowski in this heady NBC combination of comedy, fantasy, espionage, teen angst and wish fulfillment. While working a technical-support firm called the Nerd Herd, Chuck accidentally downloaded millions of megabytes of government secrets into his own brain!

*On Wednesday, the day before shooting began on Season 3, Zachary Levi showed up at the NBC party at the TCA press tour with a full-on Old Testament beard. You may think he had to shave it Thursday morning before he began work on “Pink Slip.” No, he did not. The beard has been worked in to the season premiere; it’ll appear for at least part of the episode.
