Everybody Loves Kung Fu Fighting

Bruce Lee and David Carradine probably roll over in their graves every time someone plays this video. Hey, the guy is nearly as convincing as David was but slightly more in touch with his tender feminine side. What with the cute little pink skin-tight woman's tank top and all. I think it takes a real kung fu manly man to wear something like that and still suck arse at pretending to be fighting. Top...

David Edelstein

In the early 90s I lived on Brunswick Avenue, a stone's throw away from Kensington Market and Spadina Chinatown. In the summer months it was quite common to see several city blocks taped off for the purposes of filming the David Carradine cable TV retread, "Kung Fu: The Legend Continues." There were sooooo many David Carradine stories making the rounds that I was surprised he stayed alive...

Even since 1 vs 100 Live was announced it immediately intrigued me, but I would always wonder if it would actually work. This past weekend I got a chance to dip into an extended round of the open beta for the massively multiplayer game show and got to see for myself. After seeing quite a few of my friends also logged onto the game, I wondered what our little corner of the internet thought of the pairing...
